The Summer Feeding Camp Program

The Summer Feeding Camp Program was started in June of  2005 through a partnership with the Department of Education.  What began in the Greentop (Lincoln) area providing children with breakfast, lunch, and a nutritional snack has now expanded to the Ellendale, Milford and Felton areas serving 200 children.  In addition, there are activities to help children retain and enhance their educational skills over the summer break.  Other opportunities include a monthly field trips, arts and crafts, games, and recreational activities. The program is a safe and supervised environment that operates Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., June through August.  Free transportation is available. 

Since the pandemic, started March of 2020 we had to start back feeding the children.
