Take it to The Streets Started in 1994, Take it to the Streets is a basketball tournament held each year during the third week of July at the Benjamin Banneker Courts in Milford.  Male and female teams, ages 8 to 18, compete from all over Delaware and parts of Maryland.  Other activities during the day include health education, drug prevention, and a moon bounce for the kids.  Free food and back-to-school supplies are also offered. In previous years, local police conducted bicycle safety checks where helmets were given out by FOMCC.

G.R.I.P Getting Respect, Independence, and Pride (GRIP) is a mentoring, after-school program for youth between the ages of 8 and 17. Working Hand in Hand with the Milford School District, we tutor students in reading and math.  We also offer life skills training for older children.

Summer Feeding The Summer Feeding Camp Program was started in June, 2005 through a partnership with the Department of Education.  What began in the Greentop area providing 50 children with breakfast, lunch, and a nutritional snack has now expanded to the Ellendale and Milford areas serving 236 children.  In addition, there are activities to help children retain and enhance their educational skills over the summer break.  Other opportunities include weekly field trips, arts and crafts, games, and recreational activities to offer a well-rounded experience and keep the children physically fit.  The program is a safe and supervised environment that operates Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., June through August.  Free transportation is available.

College and Career Entrepreneurship This program assists ninth to eleventh grade students who are planning to attend college.  Students are offered guidance in career choices and given help with applications to colleges, financial aid, and scholarships.  In addition, SAT preparation is offered along with trips to college campuses.
