Started in 1994, Take it to the Streets is a basketball tournament held each year during the third week of July at the Benjamin Banneker Courts in Milford.  Male and female teams, ages 8 to 18, compete from all over Delaware and parts of Maryland.  Other activities during the day include health education, drug prevention, and a moon bounce for the kids.  Free food and back-to-school supplies are also offered. In previous years, local police conducted bicycle safety checks where helmets were given out by FOMCC.
